Update (May 18, 2021): The CBSE board has decided to extend marks and internal assessment marks (out of 20) submission dates to CBSE by 30 June, 2021. The board is expected to released the CBSE class 10 result 2021 in the 2nd week of July.
On Saturday, the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) board announced a new scheme for the tabulation of marks for class 10 board exams which was canceled due to Covid19 pandemic situation.
As per the new policy, while 20 marks are for internal assessment for each subject, 80 marks will be calculated based on the performance of students in periodic/unit tests, half-yearly (mid-term) examinations, and the pre-board examinations.
The board said that three categories (unit test, mid-term exam, pre-board exam) are very common to most CBSE-affiliated schools.
Weightage of school exams/tests in terms of maximum marks
