Latest Update (May 01, 2021): The board made a announcement regarding new policy for calcution of marks for 10th board exams based on the internal assessment conducted by the schools. The board also announced the schedule of last date for activities to be done. The CBSE 10th result will be declared on June 20, 2021.

Latest Update (April 14, 2021): Due to the present situation of the Covid19 pandemic, the CBSE board has Cancelled the Class X examination that was scheduled from May 04 to June 07, 2021. The class 10 result will be prepared on the basis of an objective criterion to be developed by the board. If any candidate is not satisfied with the marks allotted to him/her, on this basis he/she will be given a chance to appear in the examination when the circumstances are favorable for conducting the examination.

Latest Update (March 05, 2021): The CBSE board has revised the exam dates for 10th & 12th class due to Eid holidays. As per the 10th class new date sheet, the Science exam that were scheduled for May 15 will now be held on May 21 and the Mathematics paper scheduled for May 21 will be held on June 02. Further the board has also changed language exam dates for English Communicative, Punjabi, Sanskrit, Arabic, Malayalam, Urdu Course-B, German, French, and Russian. For the CBSE 10th students, there are some important points to known related to the board exams. The candidates should go through the points mentioned below:

• The duration of time for each paper has been indicated in the Date-Sheet.
• However, the duration of time for each subject/paper as given on the question paper be followed meticulously.
• Answer books would be distributed to candidates between 10.00 AM–10.15 AM.
• Candidates would write their particulars on the answer book.
• Particulars shall be checked and signed by Assistant Superintendent(s).
• The question paper will be distributed at 10.15 AM.
• From 10.15 AM–10.30 AM (15 minutes), candidates shall read the question paper.
• Candidates would plan a proper strategy to write the answers.
• At 10.30 AM candidates will start writing the answers.
• No inquiries about the date of declaration of result shall be attended to.

CBSE 10th Passing Marks Criteria 2021

CBSE or Central Board of Secondary Education decided to extend that practice in passing criteria for the Class 10 examination in 2019 onwards and according to that, a candidate will have to secure an overall 33 percent (both internal assessment and Board examination taken together) in the subjects to be eligible to pass that subject.
