Patna (Bihar): Much awaited Bihar board 12th result 2021 declared today (Friday) at 3 pm.
The overall pass percentage this year is 78.04 percent. The pass percentage in arts is 77.97%, 76.28% for the science stream, and 91.48% for the commerce stream.
Bihar class 12 examination was held from Feb 01 to Feb 13, 2021, and a total of 13.5 lakhs students took part in the examination out of which 7.03 lakhs are boys and 6.46 lakhs are girls.
In the last week evaluation work of answer copies was completed in the state.

Madhu Bharti and Kailash Kumar have topped the Arts stream and scored 463 marks out of 500. Sonali Kumar is a science topper and scored 471 marks while Sunanda Kumari has topped the commerce stream with the same marks 471 out of 500.

Changed in Passing Criteria
In an effort to provide some relief to the students during the Covid pandemic, the Bihar Board issued an important order which amended the revised norms, regarding Class 12 / Intermediate examinations, in May 2020 last year. As per that order, the board is allowed to consider the additional subject marks chosen by the student if he / she fails in the compulsory subject. The marks of the sixth subject will then be added to the marks list and the student will not be failed.
How to check your BSEB 12th result:
- Open official website of BSEB department at biharboardonline.bihar.gov.in.
- Select the link name – ‘ Bihar Intermediate Result 2021’.
- Enter required details (Roll Code, Roll No., Captcha answer) in appropriate field.
- Submit.
